Fortified statue that can regenerate the health and mana of nearby friendly units. Can research Destroyer Form. Believed to be gifts granted by Ner'zhul, the Obsidian Statues are often used as figureheads at the forefront of many Undead armies, inspiring awe and fear in the enemy ranks. Nothing can prepare the enemy for what this unfathomable statue could become. Attacks land and air units.
Information
The Obsidian Statue is a useful support unit, possessing a fairly high mana pool and comes with two spells; Essence of Blight and Spirit Touch, which restores health and mana respectively. Undead players not intending to make Destroyers should only have two or three Obsidian Statues, one set for healing, the other for mana, and a last one as a reserve if one of them gets targeted. The Obsidian Statue allows Undead players to quickly heal in a pinch without having to rely on blighted ground or fountains to restore health.
Once the Destroyer Form technology is unlocked, Obsidian Statues may be morphed into Destroyers for an additional 100 gold, 50 wood and 2 food. This change is permanent, and cannot be undone.

Extremely useful for Necromancers and Banshees, allowing them to top off their mana for a battle. If Destroyers are in use, make sure to keep the spell off auto-cast outside of major battles since the Obsidian Statue will attempt to restore its mana, but fail because of the Destroyer's negative mana regen.
Morph into Destroyer
- Allows the Obsidian Statute to transform into a Destroyer, a large flying unit with powerful anti-caster abilities. Initially can cast Devour Magic, which dispels all buffs in an area and restores health and mana to the Destroyer. Can also cast Orb of Annihilation, which adds area effect bonus damage to the Destroyer's attack.
