Adventure Mode
Adventure Mode is an alternate leveling path for players, iterating from The Threads of Fate in Shadowlands, and the Adventure Mode of Diablo III.
Adventure Mode is overlaid on the campaign at an account level, rather than replacing it on a per-character basis the way The Threads of Fate did.
The War Within
The first character on the account must play through the The War Within campaign normally, completing the four zone storylines. After finishing [78-80] Surface Bound to conclude the Azj-Kahet storyline, Adventure Mode is enabled across the entire account, unlocking world quests and causing all game content not locked to max level to scale from level 68 to 80.
In adventure mode, new characters have immediate access to World quests, as well as the Scouting Map in the Dornogal. The map lets players complete zone storylines in any order:
- [70-73] Adventuring in Khaz Algar
- Isle of Dorn (quest)
- The Ringing Deeps (quest)
- Hallowfall (quest)
- Azj-Kahet (quest)
Players can also level via dungeons, delves, professions, or expansion features like the Theater Troupe or the Worldsoul Memories.
Dragonflight
The first character on the account must play through the Dragonflight campaign normally, completing the four zone storylines. After finishing [10-70] Moving On to conclude the Thaldraszus storyline, Adventure Mode is enabled across the entire account, unlocking world quests and causing all game content not locked to max level to scale from level 10 to 70.
In adventure mode, new characters have immediate access to World quests, as well as the Scouting Map in the Waking Shores. The map lets players complete zone storylines in any order:
- [10-70] Adventuring in the Dragon Isles
- [10-70] The Waking Shores
- [10-70] Ohn'ahran Plains
- [10-70] Azure Span
- [10-70] Thaldraszus
Players can also level via dungeons, professions, or expansion features like Grand Hunts.
