Cenarius, empowered with the Horn of Cenarius

Objectives

Blow the Horn of Cenarius while next to heroes of Azeroth and slay Fyrakk's forces.

Description

Once again, the mortal races have come together to defend a World Tree. It is only fitting then that we bolster their efforts with a relic from that past battle. The Horn of Cenarius.

I entrust the horn to you, <name>. Use it to bestow the blessings of Cenarius to our allies. With luck, it will allow us to break through Fyrakk's forces and open a path to the temple.

And do not forget to lend your strength as well. Every enemy felled is one fewer between us and Fyrakk.

Rewards

You will be able to choose one of these rewards:

Completion

Our allies fight with the blessing of Cenarius! It is only a matter of time until Fyrakk's forces break their ranks and flee before us.

Notes

On accept, Tyrande mounts up and runs off.

Each hero empowered or non-elite enemy slain is worth 3%.

A great number of characters from across Warcraft's history are taking part in the battle, and many of them have something to say when empowered with the Horn of Cenarius.

Tyrygosa says: Well, well. Just like old times, eh Kalec? It's been too long.
Kalecgos says: And this time we fight for a just cause.
Stellagosa says: Just as Grandfather would have wanted. He flies with us still.

Scalecommanders Azurathel, Cindrethresh, Emberthal and Viridia [30.9, 29.1]:

Scalecommander Azurathel says: We stand with the Alliance!
Scalecommander Cindrethresh says: We fight for the Horde!

Moira Thaurissan, Celestine of the Harvest, and Genn Greymane [33.3, 29.8]:

Primalist Flamewarden says: Don't get too close! He will put you to sleep like the others!

Wrathion and Sabellian [30.2, 34.3] using their combined breath attacks to fend off a squad of ground units:

Wrathion says: Let's take them down, general!
Sabellian says: And here I thought you would want to recruit them.
Wrathion says: I may be the "diplomat," but even I have standards.
Sabellian says: I am pleased to hear it. And just as pleased to fight by your side.

Tyrande Whisperwind, Jaina Proudmoore, and Thrall [32.5, 31.3] with Jaina channeling a blizzard spell that has frozen hostile units solid:

Hanu says: What happens if we die in the Dream?
Brena says: Try not to think about it.

Chen Stormstout, Rokhan, Baine Bloodhoof, and Rexxar, along with his pets Misha, Huffer, and Spirit.[32.6, 33.8]

Rexxar says: You've become quite the warrior, Baine.
Baine Bloodhoof says: My father's hoofprints were large, but I grew to fit it.

During the quest, Ashendir has a bunch of random barks:

  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Block their way to the Wellspring!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Burn them beneath our flames!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Do not let them near the temple!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Keep ranks! Do not let them break through.
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Leave naught but scorched earth!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: These false heroes cannot win!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: Their numbers mean nothing! We shall prevail!
  • Ashendir Hartwood yells: The time is at hand. We must destroy them!

On return:

Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Fyrakk has retreated to the temple entrance. His Primalists are desperately trying to break the barrier.

On completion of both, an in-engine cinematic plays:

Ashendir Hartwood looks at the battlefield.
Ashendir Hartwood says: Amirdrassil will fall to flame!
Ashendir Hartwood says: <Screaming powerfully>
Ashendir transforms into his fire hawk form and flies upwards, then descends into a group of Dream Warden fighters as a meteorite, crashing and transforming into a gigantic magma giant.
