Scout Tomul is a centaur of Clan Shikaar encountered as a quest giver throughout the Ohn'ahran Plains. Although a good hunter, Tomul's most notable trait is her keen eyesight, which makes her an excellent scout for Sansok Khan.[1] She is the first centaur encountered by players in the Ohn'ahran Plains storyline, but she is irritable and resents having to serve as the two-foots' "keeper". Tomul also oversees Grand Hunts, and can be seen alongside Trainer Frodrum and racks of Hunting Equipment wherever the event is currently taking place.

When adventurers traveled to the Ohn'ahran Plains to make contact with the green dragonflight, Tomul intercepted them near the border.[2] She was not impressed by the fact that the adventurers were on a mission from the red dragonflight and made them prove their worth by helping her hunting party kill a Blazing Proto-Dragon[3] before bringing them to the nearby Timberstep Outpost, where she introduced them to Sansok Khan just as the Shikaar were preparing to travel to the Khural at Maruukai.[4] Tomul took point when the Shikaar caravan left[5] and had the outsiders pull their weight by helping to hunt game at the caravan's first stop on the Wanderer's Steppe.[6]

On arrival to Maruukai, Tomul hoped to avoid the antagonistic Clan Nokhud,[7] a hope that Sansok Khan immediately squashed by asking Tomul to introduce the outsiders to the Nokhud's doorkeeper, Guard Bahir.[8] When the Nokhud revealed their alliance with the Primalists and betrayed the other clans, Tomul was unsurprised[9] and sent the adventurers to kill Guard Bahir.[10]

Later, Tomul was one of the scouts sent by Khanam Matra Sarest to search for Ohn'ahra after the latter was captured by the Primalists. Shortly after, she returned to Maruukai to tell Sarest and the khans that a Nokhud warband led by Balakar Khan had attacked the Horn of Drusahl. Sarest went to the Horn to confront Balakar personally took, and took Tomul, the adventurers, and the khansguard with her.[11] On arrival, she told Tomul and the guards to stay behind outside the village while she headed inside with the adventurers.[12] After Balakar blew the Horn, Tomul sought out the Khanam Matra to ask what had happened. Sarest ordered her to return to Maruukai and tell the khans to begin marching toward the Emerald Gardens to join the green dragons against the Primalists.[13]

Tomul later fought with her clanmates at the Field of Flames in the Emerald Dream against Fyrakk's forces. After his death, she came to Emerald Gardens to see Amirdrassil after it bloomed on the Dragon Isles, and then attended the gathering at the new World Tree. Afterward, she and several Shikaar Plains Guides are seen at Shoreline Roots.

Notes

  • Tomul's first kill was a powerful hornstrider. She keeps its horn as a trophy.[5]
  • According to the spirit of her late mother, Muqur Swiftshot, Tomul does in fact like the adventurers; her standoffish behavior is only because she has difficulty making and maintaining friends and because she doesn't want to come across as too eager.[1]
  • Tomul is voiced by Shara Kirby.[14]
