Azmourne

Azmourne.

Azmourne is an alternate universe of Azeroth, visited during the Time Rifts, in which the Lich King and his armies succeeded in scourging the world.

The Lich King encounter takes place atop the Frozen Throne, much like the original encounter in the primary timeline. After the encounter, players notice a  [Gilded Vase] in a place of prominence atop Icecrown.

History

The Scourge's victory must have happened during the events of The Burning Crusade since Varian Wrynn was still an amnesic gladiator when it happened.

In this time, the legendary Ashbringer is still corrupted as the  [Azmourne's Corrupted Ashbringer].
