Emberwyrms are a type of skeleton dragon typically raised by the Scourge from the corpses of red dragons[1] to serve as powerful minions, as seen in 
[15-30] Heated Battle. They appear similar to the magmawyrms formerly of the black dragonflight.
Nightbane in Karazhan may be a type of emberwyrm, although he was raised from the blue dragon Arcanagos.
As a mount
[Smoldering Ember Wyrm] is a drop from Nightbane in Return to Karazhan.
