Trivia

• In the Warcraft III alpha, the Death Knights originally rode spectral mounts called Nightmares that looked like clouds of mist instead of skeletal horses.
• Baron Rivendare's mount is simply called Deathcharger. Even if his mount is not a 'deathcharger' and just an armored 'skeletal horse', his mount may have been the inspiration for the name.
