Skitterlings are a bipedal form of nerubian. They were the last successful nerubian form to be adopted before the ability to create new strands was severed. This form received significant backlash from the rest of the nerubian kind due to their bipedal form, though through perseverance and exuberant attitudes they were able to win over respect and acceptance from the rest of the kingdom. They are noted to be intelligent, crafty, and dexterous, making them a sought after form for the artisans and social members of Azj-Kahet.[1]
Skitterlings appear to be unique to Azj-Kahet and have never been seen within Azjol-Nerub.
Notes
- They vaguely resemble ranishu.
- Despite being stated as ideal for craftsmen, there are a number of warrior and guardsman skitterlings.
- The skitterling Siesbarg is experimented upon and turned into a skyrazor, then given to the adventurer as a mount.
- They vary wildly in size. Some are about the size of the player characters, while others are extremely small and some are monstrously huge.
