Azure Dragonshrine
The Azure Dragonshrine is the shrine of the blue dragonflight, located in the Dragonblight, south of Wyrmrest Temple and west of the Path of the Titans. It is a great fissure in the ground that pours magic into the air; with another of the blue dragonflight’s ubiquitous surge needles hovers overhead. According to Magni Bronzebeard, there is a ley line naturally close to the surface.[1]
History
Wrath of the Lich King
Since the start of the Nexus War, Malygos has been diverting Azeroth's ley lines to the shrine, empowering his flight's dragons. His actions were of terrible consequence though, as he was ripping the fabric of reality apart. A daily quest exists for The Wyrmrest Accord which asked adventurers to disrupt the surge needles at the shrine.
Cataclysm
The dragonshrine can be visited while in a possible timeline of End Time. The area is scattered with the remains of the Nexus War. The Echo of Jaina can be found here.
Legion
During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, the Ethereum took control of the shrine and diverted surge needles for their own use, killing previous inhabitants. Several leaders of Azeroth's orders arrived here in search of clues regarding the current state of the Nexus.
Deaths of Chromie
The Azure Dragonshrine features in the Deaths of Chromie of the future. Chromie and the adventurer fight the Void Gargantuan here.
