Warpwood Quarter

The Warpwood Quarter is the eastern instance in Dire Maul. It has been taken over by the nefarious Alzzin the Wildshaper, a satyr who has corrupted the Fruit of Fertility so that it produces vile Felvine Shards. Alzzin has attracted all manner of corrupted plant life, satyrs, mages and demons to his cause. The entire district is overgrown with crazed plant life.

The main instance portal can be found in the Broken Commons of Dire Maul, but a hidden back entrance is located beneath the Lariss Pavilion in eastern Feralas. This back door can only be accessed with the [Crescent Key].

The area is so named for its numerous Warpwood ancients, but it also contains many lashers, as well as the annoying imp Pusillin, who will set off on a wild chase through the entire area, and eventually into the Hidden Reach. The Conservatory lies in the middle of the quarter, and dropping down from the edge is safe as long as there are no aggressive mobs at the bottom, and the jumper is at full health.

After the Fourth War, the area was still teeming with demons and satyrs.^[1]
