Zevrim Thornhoof is a satyr located in the Warpwood Quarter of Dire Maul.

He sacrifices people on the altar next to him. He has Old Ironbark in his grasp, and Ironbark can't do a thing while Zevrim is still alive. When players kill Thornhoof, Ironbark is able to open the door to Alzzin the Wildshaper. Over the years he used his victims' energies (gained from his sacrificial rituals) to whip the water elemental, Hydrospawn, into unbridled fury, little by little bending its will to his command.

Adventure Guide

Desperate to show his worth to the Burning Legion, Zevrim Thornhoof told his masters he could enslave the formidable ancients who still roamed Dire Maul. When his own power proved insufficient, Thornhoof turned to other living creatures for additional energy, butchering them atop his sacrificial altar and harvesting their essence in their final, agonizing moments.

Abilities

Intense Pain — Inflicts 200 Shadow damage to enemies within 20 yards every 3 sec. for 15 sec.
Sacrifice — Teleports a player to Zevrim's altar, stunning them and leeching 300 health from them every second for 8 sec.

Directions

As some people might like to kill him for certain loot (such as the [Clever Hat], which is nice for RP), here are detailed instructions on how to find him easily and with minimal fuss:

Enter Dire Maul East either through the main entrance (A) or the side entrance (B). Follow the path to the northeast corner (1). Turn right into the entrance of a passageway. Turn right again at the fork in the passageway (1B). Head south through the room, towards the southeast corner. Take the circular ramp (2) downwards. Head north through the room, towards the northeast corner. Take the ramp (3) upwards. Zevrim will be on the platform you exit the ramp onto, on your left.
