Mutanus in World of Warcraft.

Mutanus the Devourer is the last boss of the Wailing Caverns. Players must return to the entrance to summon him and will appear at the end of the escort event with Naralex.

Background

Mutanus appears to disrupt any attempt by the Disciple of Naralex to wake the sleeping Naralex. Manifested from Naralex's Nightmare, Mutanus the Devourer has been ordered by whatever force has infected Naralex's dreams to prevent anyone from awakening him. Mutanus appears as a colossal albino murloc.

When Mutanus crossed over from the Emerald Nightmare, he brought with him things that should not exist in Azeroth, including Deep Fathom Ring. The ring was removed from Mutanus' hand.^[1]

Adventure Guide

From the darkest corners of Naralex's twisted mind, the corruption plaguing the Emerald Dream has manifested in the form of the druid's worst enemy: murlocs. The aberration known as Mutanus has come to the waking world to devour any who seek to liberate Naralex from the Nightmare's clutches.

A Memory of Mutanus appears in the fight against Argent Confessor Paletress in the Trial of the Champion encounter of the Crusaders' Coliseum.

Abilities

Naralex's Nightmare — Puts the enemy target to sleep for up to 15 sec. Any hostile action will awaken the target. Only one target can be slept at a time.
Terrify — Terrifies an enemy, causing it to flee in fear for 4 sec. Only 1 target can be terrified at a time.
Thundercrack — Inflicts 94 to 106 Nature damage to nearby enemies, stunning them for 2.50 sec.

He is also immune to Shadow spells.
