The Avatar of Sethraliss is the last boss of the Temple of Sethraliss. Rather than a conventional encounter, the party must rather heal the Avatar to 100% health in the style of Valithria Dreamwalker while dealing with adds who attempt to thwart their efforts.
After the Avatar is restored during 
[35-50D] Temple of Sethraliss: Avatar of the Loa, it appears in the topmost chamber of the Sanctuary of the Devoted in Vol'dun.
Adventure Guide
The Heart of Sethraliss is in the grips of a terrible power that seeks to corrupt her. Her avatar must be restored before this evil takes root and she is reborn as a dark loa capable of destroying the whole of Vol'dun.
Overview
Jakra'zet's allies will continually Taint the Avatar of Sethraliss, thwarting your attempts to heal her. As the Avatar is restored, more and more of Jakra'zet's allies will join the fray, often causing Toads to Plague you. Dispatch the Heart Guardians and Hoodoo Hexxers, then captilize on your opportunity to heal the Avatar. The encounter is complete when the Avatar is fully restored.
Damage Dealers
- Heart Guardians deal significantly more damage to your tank the longer they are alive.
- Hoodoo Hexers decrease the amount of healing the Avatar of Sethraliss receives.
- Plague Toads chase healers and inflict them with Plague.
- The Energy Fragment spawned by a dying Heart Guardian is most useful when the Avatar of Sethraliss is free from Taint.
Healers
- You must heal the Avatar of Sethraliss to full for your party to succeed.
- Plague will thwart your attempts to heal the Avatar.
- Heart Guardians will deal significantly more damage to your tank the longer they are alive.
- The Energy Fragment spawned by a dying Heart Guardian is most useful when the Avatar of Sethraliss is free from Taint.
Tanks
- Heart Guardians will deal significantly more damage to you the longer they are alive.
- Move Heart Guardians near any Hoodoo Hexxers to allow your damage dealers to capitalize on their damage potential.
- Plague Toads chase healers and inflict them with Plague.
- The Energy Fragment spawned by a dying Heart Guardian is most useful when the Avatar of Sethraliss is free from Taint.
Abilities
Taint 
— Taints the Avatar of Sethraliss, reducing all incoming healing taken by 50%.
Heart Attack 
— The Heart Guardian strikes at the heart of their target, inflicting 3182 Nature damage and increasing the damage they take from all sources by 20% for 10 sec.
Energy Fragment — When a Heart Guardian dies, a fragment of its energy drops to the ground. Using this fragment will give the Avatar Life Force for 20 sec.
- Life Force — Energizes the Avatar of Sethraliss with some of her missing life force. While energized, the Avatar will receive an additional 1000 points of healing every time they are healed by any ability.
- Plague Doctor (Heroic + Mythic)
Snake Charm 
— Transforms the enemy into a snake for 8 sec. While transformed, the victim is incapacitated, and cannot attack or cast spells.
Chain Lightning 
— Hurls a lightning bolt at the enemy, dealing 3435 Nature damage and then jumping to additional nearby enemies. Affects up to 3 total targets.
Rain of Toads — The caster summons several Plague Toads that will chase down any healers they find and Plague them.
- Plague
— You are afflicted with the plague! Healing you do is reduced by 50%. The victim suffers 6365 Plague damage over the duration. Multiple applications of Plague cause the damage effect to stack.
Pulse — The Heart of Sethraliss unleashes a blast of energy, inflicting 6364 Nature damage over 12 sec. to all players.
Cardiac Shock — Lightning crashes down near the Heart of Sethraliss, inflicting 11457 Nature damage to all players within 3 yards of the impact.
