The Bronze Temple has lain dormant for millennia, awaiting a time when its dragonflight would return. But just as the bronze dragons have reclaimed their sacred temple, dark forces now threaten to overtake it. Will the infinites take hold of the Timeways and bring about the rise of Murozond? The champions of Azeroth must venture into time itself to ensure that the future remains a bright one.

A brief questline introduces players to the megadungeon, starting atop the Seat of the Aspects in Valdrakken, though it is not required to access the instance:
Chronikar spent her entire life in service to the infinite dragonflight, making her way up the ranks until she earned the title of commander. Even among the radical infinites, her zealotry is unmatched. As the venerated rearguard, she will stop at nothing to put an end to any who dare oppose her order.
A manifestation of the sands of time itself. This ancient being is always watching, always waiting for the moment when the Timeways are in peril. She was unable to stop the infinite dragonflight as they crashed their way into the past. Now, faced with more intruders, she refuses to fail a second time.
These primal dragons were brought back by the necrotic energies dripping from the corpse of Galakrond. Ahnzon is the crackling hunger of the storm. Dazhak the all-consuming gluttony of the flame. Loszkeleth the seeping starvation of the cold. And the heroes of Azeroth are looking like a tasty meal...
Iridikron is a powerful Incarnate who wields both the power and the patience of earth itself. He wishes to topple the Aspects and rid the world of the titan's influence. However, his exact plans to do so are not yet known. Why has he joined forces with the infinites? Whatever the answer, he must be stopped.
With the true timeline now altered by Murozond's rise, the heroes of Azeroth are faced with many oddities. Chief among them being Titan-Keeper Tyr joining forces with the infinite dragonflight. His legendary loyalty now turned against them, the heroes of Azeroth have no choice but to fight. To win.
Morchie is the alternate form of Chromie, created by a timeline where Murozond rose and the infinites reigned supreme. And it so happens that she rather enjoys being part of the true timeline, and would like to keep it that way. Unfortunately, the heroes of Azeroth keep getting in the way of her plans.
Time-Lost Battlefield
One of the many battles between the Alliance and Horde have bled into the Timeways, and it's up to the heroes of Azeroth to put an end to this time anomaly in order to continue their journey.
But first they will have to face Grommash Hellscream, one of the Horde's mightiest chieftains. For the Alliance!

At long last, the infinite dragonflight shall usher in a new dawn for the world of Azeroth. Chrono-Lord Deios has traveled far into the past to ensure that Murozond shall rise. The heroes of Azeroth have already seen him succeed once. This time, can they stop him?

Dawn of the Infinite
Galakrond's Fall
Adventurers team up with Chromie and Nozdormu and enter the Sanctum of Chronology to fight Chronikar.
Nozdormu says: The Infinite Dragonflight has already infiltrated the Timeways. We must follow.
Chromie says: Oh, don't you worry. We'll find a way to stop them!
Approach Chronikar:
Chronikar yells: You only delay the inevitable! Murozond shall rise!
Nozdormu says: We will keep the reinforcements at bay while you take care of their commander.
Chromie says: Right! We've got your back!
After Chronikar's death, Nozdormu and Chromie approach a big gate:
Nozdormu says: Now, to open the Timeways.
Chromie says: This never gets old.
Nozdormu activates the portal to the Timeways.
Nozdormu says: Champions, you must destroy any anomalies that appear. We cannot have them further twisting the Timeways.
Chromie says: When do you think the infinites went to, Nozdormu?
Nozdormu says: I do not know. They have often tried to corrupt the true timeline, but to invade the Bronze Temple to do so...
Chromie says: Must be far in the past then. They risk unraveling all of time as we know it!
Nozdormu says: Indeed. And they will stop at nothing to ensure the rise of my darkest self... Murozond.
Once the enemies on the platform are defeated, the Manifested Timeways boss appears.
Manifested Timeways yells: Even the Aspect of Time cannot be allowed to disrupt the timeways!
Chromie yells: No! We're trying to fix them!
Nozdormu says: We have no choice. Champions, you must fight. She cannot bar our path.
With the manifestation defeated, a portal through the Timeways becomes active. Take them and travel to the Spoke of Endless Winter.
Nozdormu yells: With me, champions. The pathway is opened.
Infinite Infiltrator yells: You shall not interfere with our infinite dawn!
Nozdormu says: I have tracked the infinites to a place--a moment--where I dare not tread.
Chromie says: You're not coming with us?
Nozdormu says: I shall be with you, in a sense. But not as you know me now.
Nozdormu says: I have faith in you, my friends. And even should Murozond rise... know that all is not lost.
Take the portal to the Galakrond's Fall. On the other side, a gigantic fresh corpse looms ahead.
Chromie says: That corpse above us, it's... it's Galakrond! He must have just fallen.
Chromie says: He was the biggest proto-dragon ever. His hunger nearly consumed all of dragonkind!
Chromie says: Be careful. We've gone back before the Aspects were even the Aspects.
Chromie says: We have to find the... uh... Proto-Aspects? They'll know what to do!
Chromie yells: Uh oh. That slime is full of necromantic power!
Chromie says: Looks like we'll need to mop this up!
After defeating the blight, Chormie approaches the proto-dragon that just felled Galakrond.
Alexstrasza says: We face enemies above and below.
Ysera says: So we're trapped?
Neltharion says: I'd hardly say that.
Chromie yells: Nozdormu! Alexstrasza! Everyone! The infinites are here and we have to stop them.
Chromie says: They want to... oh, oh there's no time to explain!
Chromie says: But please, you must trust me! The future of dragonkind depends on it.
Alexstrasza says: You are an odd little dragon. But there is something kind about you.
Nozdormu says: I cannot explain why, but... my instincts tell me we should trust her.
Malygos says: I sense strange energies below, and a great earthly power above. And something else...
Chromie says: Earth...? Oh, no. Ah, me and these heroes will take care of that one! You worry about the infinites!
Alexstrasza says: Very well, little dragon. My friends! With me!
The group goes onward to face their new earth adversary.
Chromie says: If Iridikron came here with the infinites, then they must be working together. Oh, that's bad... really bad!
Chromie says: Can you scout ahead? I'll be with you in a moment.
Nozdormu yells: For the future of Azeroth!
Iridikron yells: So the titans' puppets have come to face me.
Chromie says: He's siphoning Galakrond's essence into a... vessel?
Chromie says: It looks kind of like the Dragon Soul, but even more ancient.
Iridikron yells: A hunger lost to the ages. One which I shall reclaim!
Chromie yells: I need an opening to destroy that relic!
After defeating Iridikron, a cinematic plays out.
Dawn of the Infinite: Murozond's Rise
Chromie and the adventurers are teleported back to the Bronze Temple, but a change is on the wind.
Chromie yells: Where... when are we? No, no t-this can't be right. The infinites changed the true timeline!
Chromie yells: This can't be happening. If Murozond exists, that means Nozdormu...
Chromie yells: No. No, we can fix this. We have to get back to the Timeways!
The company lands and heads to face an alternate version of Tyr.
Chromie says: Tyr is fighting for the infinites? No, this isn't right!
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper yells: For too long I was bound by the shackles of the titans. Now my mind is open to infinite possibilities...
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper yells: But your path ends here!
Tyr, the Infinite Keeper yells: The infinite dragonflight shall continue!

Use the extra speed to bypass the infinite flight magic in the Infinite Conflux and continue to the end of the temple and teleport to the Timeways.
Infinite Diversionist yells: The timeways are ours!
Chromie says: Ugh! The Timeways are even twistier than before.
Chromie says: There's no way I can get us back to the past like this.
Chromie says: When time gets rewritten, things get messy here. Be ready for anything!

Chromie yells: The Horde and Alliance are fighting? Well, this could be any point in time!

Chromie runs toward the proto-dragons.
Alexstrasza says: We face enemies above and below.
Ysera says: So we're trapped?
Neltharion says: I'd hardly say that.
Chromie yells: Everyone! The infinites are here and we must stop them. You have to trust me!
Alexstrasza says: You are an odd little dragon. But there is something kind about you.

Chromie says: Now, we have to face the infinites together this time. They're the black glowy dragons in the ravine.

Chromie says: I know there's a dragon above us on that ledge, but we'll handle him after we defeat Deios.

The group heads to attack Deios.
Chrono-Lord Deios yells: I have you now, Nozdormu! Give in to your true self! To Murozond!
Chrono-Lord Deios yells: The infinite dawn rises! A future free of torment! Perfected by our protection!
A cinematic plays out:
Chromie says: We did it! Our future is secured!
Iridikron says: Tell me, little one . . . have you ever questioned why the titans preserve this timeline?
Chromie says: The tians safeguard our world from monsters like you!
Iridikron says: Your faith means nothing to them. As you burn in the flames of my brother's wrath, they will not come. All they wanted was our world. With this, the Harbinger will pry it from their grasp. And when the titans come to reclaim their prize, I will be waiting.
Iridikron enters the void portal.
On the other side, Chromie is with the proto-dragons.
Alexstrasza says: What terrible presence stood before us? And what relic does he hold?
Chromie says: Oh, you won't have to worry about him for a long time. Us, on the other hand--shoot.
Chromie says: I'm sorry, I'm sure you have lots of questions. But the timeline...
Nozdormu says: I... think I understand. We must preserve the future, and any knowledge you share may change that.
Alexstrasza says: Then they should return.
Nozdormu says: They should. Still, I want to ask. That future you are returning to... is it worth fighting for?
Chromie says: Oh yes, Nozdormu. Very much so. And I can't wait for you to see it.
Chromie says: Goodbye, everyone. It was nice to meet you all again... for the first time!
Chromie takes the portal back to the present.
Malygos says: These events make me wonder... what does our future hold?
Nozdormu says: I cannot even begin to imagine.
Neltharion says: Well, whatever comes, I vow to always defend dragonkind.
Ysera says: Yes, my friends. Together, we will nurture all life on this world.
Alexstrasza says: The bonds forged between us can never be broken. Not now. Not ever.
