Decatriarch Wratheye is the final boss in Brackenhide Hollow.

She is gnoll shaman who mastered decay magic and commands the Brackenhide that wreaks havoc in the Azure Span. She was impressed by Gutshot's abilities and cunning, and assigned her to oversee and train other hunters and take out any interlopers that might venture too far into the Hollow. She also put Rira Hackclaw to guard the gate to the hollow. The tuskarr from Iskaara, aided by adventurers, rose up against the tribe and pushed the corrupted gnolls back. The gnolls kept regrouping in the hollow and use the decay, so Chieftain Brena sent a team of heroes inside the hollow to find her people and deal with the decay. The most skilled gnolls were defeated, during the encounter with Wratheye, the Decatriarch escaped.

Over time, Gnoll Mon-Ark took the leadership of the gnolls and after the death of Fyrakk, the World Tree Amirdrassil bloomed on the Dragon Isles. He expressed his belief that Wratheye would want to corrupt the world tree.

Adventure Guide

Wratheye discovered decay magic in her thirst for power, and declared herself the Decatriarch after mastering it. She now builds the strength of the Brackenhide by spreading her dark magic among her tribe so the tuskarr, and all of the Azure Span, will rot in its wake.

Overview

Wratheye assaults players with Withering Rot over the course of the fight. Upon reaching 100 energy, Wratheye will cast Decaying Strength, gaining more power based on the amount of Withering Rot she absorbs.

Damage Dealers

• Rotburst Totem will continuously burst Withering Rot on players until destroyed.
• Decaying Strength grants Wratheye more power the more Withering Rot is present on players.

Healers

• Decaystrike absorbs a large amount of healing on the target struck.
• Decaying Strength grants Wratheye more power the more Withering Rot is present on players.

Tanks

• Decaystrike inflicts intense damage and applies a healing absorb.
• Decaying Strength increases the amount of Wratheye's damage done by a large amount, reducing in intensity after each melee attack.
• Decaying Strength grants Wratheye more power the more Withering Rot is present on players.

 Decaying Strength  — Wratheye evokes a deadly ritual, converting players' applications of Withering Rot into Decaying Strength for herself, increasing damage done by 5%. This effect stacks. Additionally creates a Withered Eruption at each player's location.

•  Withered Eruption — The player erupts for 32624-132344 damage to all nearby players, the size of the effect is increased by the applications of Withering Rot on the player.

 Rotburst Totem Damage Dealer Alert — Wratheye summons a Rotburst Totem at a location, inflicting 72498-294097 Nature damage to any players at the location when it lands. The totem repeatedly casts Rotting Burst.

•  Rotting Burst — Inflicts 18125-73524 Nature damage to all players and applies Withering Rot.
  •  Withering Rot  — Withering Rot saps the player's strength, inflicting 3625-14705 Nature damage every 1.5 sec. and reducing damage done by 2% for 8 sec. This effect stacks.
  • On Mythic difficulty, Withering Rot does not expire until Decatriarch Wratheye absorbs it with Decaying Strength or the encounter ends.

 Choking Rotcloud — Wratheye breathes out a cloud of decay, inflicting 72498-294097 Nature to players in front of her. The rot coalesces into a drifting cloud, inflicting 19937-80877 Nature damage every 2 sec. silencing players and applying Withering Rot to players within.

•  Withering Rot  — Withering Rot saps the player's strength, inflicting 3625-14705 Nature damage every 1.5 sec. and reducing damage done by 2% for 8 sec. This effect stacks.
• On Mythic difficulty, Withering Rot does not expire until Decatriarch Wratheye absorbs it with Decaying Strength or the encounter ends.

 Decaystrike  — Wratheye infuses her claws with decay and strikes her target twice, inflicting 45311-183811 Physical damage and absorbing 20 healing taken with each hit.
