The Reins of the Astral Cloud Serpent is a rare drop from the Cache of Pure Energy after defeating Elegon in normal and heroic Mogu'shan Vaults.

It also has a chance to be listed on the Black Market Auction House by Mei Francis, for the opening bid of 20,000. It is also sold by Hemet Nesingwary XVII for 18,700 at the Infinite Bazaar locations during Pandaria Remix.

It is believed that Astral Cloud Serpents possess answers to some of life's greatest mysteries. Pity they can't talk.
