Mimiron's Head is a mechanical mount that rarely drops from Yogg-Saron in Ulduar if none of the keepers assist in the encounter, the criteria for [Alone in the Darkness].
The head can appear on the Black Market Auction House for an opening bid of 20,000. It can also drop from a
[Cache of Timewarped Treasures] obtained via
[30R] Disturbance Detected: Ulduar.
Obtaining this mount grants the [And I'll Form the Head!] feat of strength.
Mount Journal
A token of titan craftsmanship hoarded by the Old God, Yogg-Saron. Currently the single largest mechanical gnome head in Azeroth.
Notes
- Prior to patch 3.2.0, its use text read: "Teaches you how to summon this construction. Can only be summoned in Outland or Northrend. This is a very fast... head."
- Before the 10-player and 25-player versions of Ulduar were merged in patch 7.3.5, this mount only dropped in 25-player mode.
- This mount resembles the Aerial Command Unit (the head of V-07-TR-0N) but with a larger cockpit. It also uses different, less bouncy animations.
- Johnny Awesome owns a Mimiron's Head. He named it Wilson.
- The
[Mecha-Mogul Mk2] is a goblin version of this mount.
- Mimiron's Head is the name of a legendary card in Hearthstone, though the card appears to represent the Aerial Command Unit instead.
