The Whistle of the Mottled Red Raptor summoned a Mottled Red Raptor. This was an epic raptor mount sold by Zjolnir in Durotar before patch 1.4.0. It was removed from Zjolnir's inventory with the addition of new, more impressive-looking epic mounts. Players who'd already bought an Ivory Raptor could exchange it for one of the new mounts via the 
[1] Red Raptor Replacement quest.
Having this mount awards the 
[Old School Ride] Feat of Strength.

Bred from the fiercest stock anywhere and guaranteed not to bite (much).
Trivia
- This mount's model was later reused for the
[Mottled Blood Raptor], a Season of Discovery-exclusive mount.
Patch changes
Patch 1.4.0 (2005-04-19): Removed. - Patch 1.3.0 (2005-03-07): Buff icon now lists the mount as being a Mottled Red Raptor instead of a Crimson Raptor.
