Steamwheedle Port was a port village on the eastern coast of the Tanaris desert, in the South Seas. Belonging to the goblins' neutral Steamwheedle Cartel, it was connected by a road to its mother city of Gadgetzan to the west, and also had a dock for ships to and from Kezan. As the Cataclysm was about to start, the port reported tidal waves,[2] was caught in fire,[3] and was subsequently flooded and destroyed, turning it into mostly underwater ruins. Many of its residents have gone missing, were killed by the destructive forces, or went to live in Gadgetzan for a modest relocation fee.[3]

Steamwheedle Port was home to Yeh'kinya, who started the Hakkar the Soulflayer storyline with the quest N [44] Screecher Spirits.

After the Fourth War, Zekhan reported that Southsea Pirates now dock atop the crushed home of the goblins.[1]

Lost Rigger Cove is located south of the port along the shore. You can get there by either traveling by land through a small cave or just swimming along the shore.

This small village was home to a more sedate population of goblins and peaceful trolls, who spend most of their time fishing and fighting off Southsea Pirates. They had several machines set up to turn salt water into fresh water, but these worked only on rare occasions.[4]
