The Deserted Workshop is a location in Tanaris just northwest of Gadgetzan. It contains a wrecked rocket car on the side of a hill, with the cart's tracks showing that it came from the mountains in the north on the border of Thousand Needles. Currently the area seems to serve no purpose.
Trivia
- The area was to be visited during
[110] Signs of Madness to examine various items at the site. - Although the subzone was only named in Legion, the crashed drag car has been there since Vanilla. Several intact versions could once be found at the Mirage Raceway. The crash's tracks actually start in Thousand Needles, now underwater.
- The area may be a reference to the experiment in The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension.
