Goblin Weather Machine - Prototype 01-B

Goblin Weather Machine - Prototype 01-B is a toy that comes from a special loot card from the Servants of the Betrayer set. The loot card unlocks the option to acquire it from Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.

It can also be listed on the Black Market Auction House by Landro Longshot, for the opening bid of 15,000.

In 2023, it was given out as a reward to viewers of eligible Twitch streams who watched for at least four hours from February 1-5.

Notes

Facts:

• Gives a small weather effect above your head
• Has no level requirement
• You lose the buff on death

Can be used:

• Outdoors
• Indoors
• In instances (dungeons, both raid and 5man)
• In battlegrounds
• In arenas
• Is not affected by the GCD (Global Cooldown)
• Is instant cast

Gives a buff with no visible duration called 'Personalized Weather' which apply the weather effect. The buff has a hidden duration of 30 seconds which once reached will either:

• Renew itself, giving either the same weather effect or a different one for 30 seconds
• Expire and disappear, removing the weather effect

Has 4 different weather effects (which all have the same buff name, but different description):

• The forecast calls for sun
• The forecast calls for clouds
• The forecast calls for showers with a chance of lightning
• The forecast calls for snow
