Rabbit
- For the Warcraft III mobs, see Bunny. For the invisible NPC's, see Invisible bunny.
A rabbit is a small, fluffy critter that can be found in almost all grassy or forested areas of Azeroth. It is a favorite target of predators.
When you have two rabbits, you'll often soon have three.[1] Spring rabbits symbolize fertility, and they love to demonstrate why.[2] Despite their idyllic surroundings, grasslands cottontails hop at surprising speed when evading their pursuers.[3] Mountain cottontails can leap up a steep incline with speed you would not believe.[4] The elfin rabbits' proximity to the magic of the elves has caused some of them unnatural long life. And in some elfin rabbits... stranger things.[5]
The presence of Jade, the majestic Pandaren rabbit spirit, brings joy and happiness and is heralded as a wonderful omen. Legend says that in its eyes, you can glimpse the greatest happiness of your life, even if it is yet to come.[6]
A new type of rabbit can be found on the Dragon Isles.

- Jackrabbits are mentioned both in The Green Hills of Stranglethorn and in the (non-canon) RPG book Lands of Conflict.
- Bunnies are mentioned in The Fluffy Bunny, a fairy tale by Jepetto Joybuzz. "Bunnies" was also the name of a race of humanoid rabbits that lived on Bunny Island in a Warcraft III bonus map, though it is unlikely that the bunny in The Fluffy Bunny is meant to have been one of the humanoid bunnies.
- The virmen are a race of rabbit-like humanoids.
