L'ghorek is a creature referred to as an ancient and a god by individuals at Promontory Point located in the Abyssal Depths. The ancient creature is slowly dying from the Twilight's Hammer activities inside. The parasites, as L'ghorek calls them, having been draining the energy and using it to ascend.
Within the ancient creature the Twilight's Hammer has built a temple around L'ghorek's heart, or least where the heart once was (severed tubes can be seen). Hallazeal the Ascended leads this group of the Twilight's Hammer.
Below L'ghorek, in the Undershell, ogre magi are preforming a ritual to connect him with a powerful creature far below.
After players complete quests within L'ghorek's shell he dies with the satisfaction that the Twilight's Hammer within him have been thwarted.
