The Sky Father is a deity worshiped by the tauren, seemingly as a counterpart to the Earth Mother. When a tauren is cremated, they are said to become one with both the Earth Mother and Sky Father; as the cremated's ashes fall to the earth while the smoke rises to the sky, the Earth Mother and Sky Father both welcome the honored dead.[1]
