“The world belongs to us. Its vastness is tamed, its greatness revealed, only because we master it as the Forgers did.”

Imperator Mar'gok[1]

According to the ogres, the Forgers were the great beings who shaped the world of Draenor and created the ogre race. When the Forgers squeezed the light from the enormous ball of fire that would become Draenor, they made the ogres from the same smoking clay and gave them dominion over stone and earth, making the ogres the rightful rulers of Draenor. The ogres consider their magic to derive from the Forgers.[1]

Speculation

This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

In previous lore, "Forgers" may have been intended as the ogre name for the titan Pantheon, but following the revelations about Draenor's early history in Chronicle Volume 2, it is now unclear if "Forgers" refers to Aggramar, Grond, the colossals or something else.
