Magmashell is obtained through the use of 
[Empty Magma Shell] in the Waking Shores. Loot the shell from lava snails in the vicinity of [23, 71] south of the Obsidian Citadel, then head to [71, 25] east of Scalecracker Keep. An Empowered Snail is way down in the lava, so the goal is to swim into the lava and channel a 16-second Embiggening Snail cast on it.
As swimming in lava... hurts, just a bit... and players are busy channeling the spell, another healer will need to be on-hand to keep the channeling player alive. Players can also acquire the 
[Everlasting Horn of Lavaswimming] from completing the Siege on Dragonbane Keep, which grants immunity to lava.
