Rank 3 |
Vision of Perfection grants you and up to 2 nearby allies 107 Haste for 10 seconds. Strive for Perfection also increases Versatility, scaling with Azerite level. |
Rank 4 | Vision of Perfection gains an enhanced appearance. |
Vision of Perfection is an Azerite Essence obtained from Mechagon. The spell it activates depends on your class and spec.

- Rank 1 is learned from [Engine of Mecha-Perfection], which drops from King Mechagon in Operation: Mechagon.
- Rank 2 is learned from [Perfectly Timed Differential], which can be crafted through Junkyard Tinkering.
- Rank 3 is learned from [Perfection-Enhancing Gearbox], which is created by combining 4 [Progression Sprocket]s from King Mechagon.
- Rank 4 is learned from [Mecha-Perfection Turbo], rewarded from the [Hertz Locker] achievement.
Spell
Vision of Perfection activates a different spell for each class and spec:
Patch changes
- Hotfix (2020-03-02): Corrected an issue where [Strive for Perfection] Rank 3's effect was removed when entering an Arena match.
- Hotfix (2020-01-24): Corrected several issues with Destruction Warlocks using Vision of Perfection either not getting an Infernal to spawn on their target, or a real summoned Infernal to incorrectly have the lowered Vision of Perfection duration applied to it.
- Hotfix (2020-01-23): In Mechagon Junkyard and Mechagon Workshop on Mythic Keystone difficulties, end-of-run chests now award [Engine of Mecha-Perfection], or [Blueprint: Perfectly Timed Differential], or [Progression Sprocket]s for players' Vision of Perfection.
- Patch 8.3.0 (2020-01-14): Proc rate increased by 12%.
- Hotfix (2019-08-02):
- Vision of Perfection no longer lowers the duration of the Demonic Power buff from Demonology Warlocks' Demonic Tyrant when it activates if the player already has a Demonic Tyrant active.
- Fixed an issue with the Versatility amount granted by Vision of Perfection Rank 3 not correctly increasing with a player's Heart of Azeroth level.
- Hotfix (2019-07-19): Vision of Perfection no longer grants Guardian Druids with Strive for Perfection's Rank 2 healing effect at Rank 1.
- Hotfix (2019-07-16):
- Vision of Perfection no longer activates for Arms Warriors if they are under the effects of crowd control that prevents them from controlling their character (e.g. Polymorph or stuns).
- Vision of Perfection no longer grants Unholy Death Knights with Strive for Perfection's Rank 2 healing effect at Rank 1.
- Vision of Perfection no longer forcibly shapeshifts Druids out of [Flight Form] if they are flying when it activates.
- Strive for Perfection Rank 2 now grants Guardian Druids the correct amount of healing when [Incarnation: Guardian of Ursoc] activates.
- Strive for Perfection no longer grants Guardian Druids twice the intended amount of cooldown reduction for [Survival Instincts].
- Strive for Perfection Rank 2 now grants Brewmaster Monks the correct amount of healing when [Invoke Niuzao, the Black Ox] activates.
- Strive for Perfection no longer grants Protection Warriors twice the intended amount of cooldown reduction for [Avatar].
- Strive for Perfection heals for 50% less in PvP situations.
- Hotfix (2019-07-11): Strive for Perfection now grants Windwalker Monks with the correct cooldown reduction for [Serenity].
- Hotfix (2019-07-10): Strive for Perfection now correctly reduces the cooldown of Discipline Priests' [Mindbender].
- Hotfix (2019-07-09): Gaining Vision of Perfection or being healed by Strive for Perfection no longer breaks stealth.
- Hotfix (2019-06-27): Feral Druids can no longer cast [Prowl] during Vision of Perfection if they are not talented into Incarnation: King of the Jungle.
