Fortifying Brew Row 7 monk talent 6 min cooldown Instant Turns your skin to stone for 15 sec, increasing your current and maximum health by 15% and reducing all damage you take by 20%. Combines with other Fortifying Brew effects.

• Not affected by the global cooldown.
• Fortifying Brew is Chen's trait in Heroes of the Storm.

Patch changes

• Patch 11.0.0 (2024-07-23): Moved to row 7 (was row 5). Cooldown is now 2 minutes for Mistweaver and Windwalker.
  
• Hotfix (2023-12-05):
  • Fixed an issue that caused Fortifying Brew's damage reduction to be higher than intended in PvP combat.
  • Damage reduction is no longer increased in PvP combat (was 30%).
    
• Patch 10.1.5 (2023-07-11): Now reduces damage taken by 30% in PvP combat (was 20%).
  
• Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 5 class talent (was a level 28 ability). Rank 2 converted into the [Fortifying Brew: Determination] talent.
  
• Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Fortifying Brew's cooldown now resets when an encounter ends for Windwalker and Mistweaver Monks.
  
• Hotfix (2020-11-20): The cooldown of Fortifying Brew is now correctly 6 minutes.

  • All monks can now use Fortifying Brew (was Brewmaster/Mistweaver only). Now learned at level 28 (was 24).
  • Cooldown is now 6 minutes (was 7 minutes).
