The Queen's Reprisal, damaged during the war against the Lich King

The Queen's Reprisal was among a small group of four ships known as the Windrunner Fleet which took part in the Horde's campaign in Northrend during the War against the Lich King. Along with its three companion ships—the Windrunner, the Oblivion, and the Dark Defiance—the Queen's Reprisal was attacked by elements of the Alliance's North Fleet as it reached the coast of Howling Fjord. During the engagement, the Queen's Reprisal suffered heavy damage and was partially sunk. Not long after, Alliance survivors attempted to salvage resources from the ship's wreck, although they were eventually driven off.[1]

The Alliance forces were ultimately thwarted, but the Queen's Reprisal was put out of action for the remainder of the campaign.

War in the Broken Isles

Legion This section concerns content related to Legion.

Following the beginning of the Burning Legion's third invasion of Azeroth, the Queen's Reprisal, now fully repaired and renovated, was sent to the Broken Isles along with the massive assault force of both the Horde and Alliance, to push back the demonic invaders. The Queen's Reprisal ultimately took part in the ensuing Battle for the Broken Shore, which it survived.[2]

Following the disaster at the Broken Shore, the Queen's Reprisal was dispatched along with the rest of the forsaken fleet to Stormheim on the orders of Lady Sylvanas Windrunner herself. On the way there, however, the fleet was struck by a massive storm and the Queen's Reprisal was separated from the other ships. It was ultimately swept ashore on the eastern coast of Azsuna, where it floundered and crashed into a series of rocks, partially sinking into the bay.[3]

Soon afterwards, a local colony of makrura and gilblins swarmed the ship, overwhelming its beleaguered crew. Many of the ship's survivors were dragged ashore, suffering from potent gilblin poisons, and were eventually either saved by members of the Horde, or put out of their misery by members of the Alliance, in the area. The captain of the Queen's Reprisal was allegedly consumed by the makrura queen.[4]

[Captain's Log of the Queen's Reprisal] was then recovered by the adventurer and returned to his faction where the information within was handled by the authorities.[5]
