Mount Journal
- Ancient manuscripts depict merchants traveling across the frozen tundra with these colossal beasts, leading scholars to believe they are the first domesticated mounts.
- Riders and merchants alike trust only this strong and steadfast mammoth to carry them safely across the frigid tundra.
Notes and trivia
- The included NPCs are Gnimo or Drix Blackwrench (repairer/trade goods vendor) and Hakmud of Argus or Mojodishu (general goods vendor).
- The NPCs have dialogue when they're dismounted from the mammoth—mostly complaining at the player for leaving them behind. Hakmud's dialogue changes when on Argus.
- This was the first vendor mount added to the game.
- During the Wrath of the Lich King beta, this item's name was Reins of the Grand Caravan Mammoth.
