Maruukai is the sacred[2] capital city[1] of the Maruuk centaur, located in the north-central Ohn'ahran Plains in the shadow of the mountain Ohn'ahra's Roost. Each season, the centaur clans gather here for the Khural, a time of truce and communion.[2] The Maruuk have returned to this spot for "generations upon generations".[3] Each of the major clans have their own districts in the town, overseen by Clan Teerai and their Khanam Matra from the center. Maruukai serves as the main quest hub in the Ohn'ahran Plains and is home to renown vendors for the Maruuk Centaur faction. It also contains the instance portal to the Nokhud Offensive and acts as the starting point of the dungeon, though the version seen in the dungeon is emptied of almost all of its NPCs.

City center
A crossroads runs through the center of town in front of a space resembling an open-air theater. The Nokhud Offensive portal and Meeting Stone are located here.
The krutal
The krutal—a large, two-story structure—is the central building of Maruukai,[4] located atop a hill overlooking the other areas. A small cooking area is located on its west side.

Nokhud encampment
The camp of Clan Nokhud, centered around a fighting pit, takes up the southwestern corner. Most of the generic NPCs here are initially neutral, but turn permanently hostile after the quest [62-65] The Khanam Matra.
