Hemet Nesingwary Jr. is the son of the famed dwarven hunter Hemet Nesingwary, following in his footsteps.

History

He took over Nesingwary's Expedition in Northern Stranglethorn after his father left for Outland.[1] He specialized in raptor hunting and sent adventurers of the Alliance and Horde to kill various raptors.

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

Hemet and his group stayed in Stranglethorn during the Cataclysm and continued to focus on raptors. During the Zandalari troll invasion, he and his camp came under attack from serpents, as well as Mauti. The hunters were soon helped by the adventurers.

Mists of Pandaria This section concerns content related to Mists of Pandaria.

Years later, he accompanied his father to Nesingwary's Safari in the Valley of the Four Winds, where he hoped to move out of his father's shadow[2] and prove himself to be just as much of a big game hunter as him. Hemet Sr. ended up having to save his son from the Torjari Pit, but told Junior that he was proud of him after all.[3]

Dragonflight This section concerns content related to Dragonflight.

Years later, after his father decided to join the Dragonscale Expedition to the Dragon Isles, Junior decided to join him. With his father having turned over a new leaf as a wagon rider, Junior helped run Camp Nowhere within the Azure Span in his absence. Though he had arrived to the isles as a matter of exploration and not big game hunting, Junior could not resist the call of the hunt. He thus subsequently traveled to Maruukai in the Ohn'ahran Plains in the hopes of joining one of Clan Shikaar's Grand Hunts, where he was rejected due to their differing perspectives on what exactly a hunt entailed.[4] As a result, while he did respect their wishes and not join the hunts, he could be found spying on them and will comment on the hunt in question.

Gossip

Hemet Senior and Junior (left) at their camp in the Valley of the Four Winds.
Northern Stranglethorn
My father's off to more exotic locations in search of bigger prey. Don't worry though, we're still on the hunt here!
Valley of the Four Winds
Me pop n' I are on a genuine safari. This is a strange, new land filled with dangers around every turn, monsters pokin' out of every hole, and beasts as ol' as the dirt itself livin' life without fear.
It's huntin' season!
Initial at Maruukai, Ohn'ahran Plains
What am I doing out here? Well apparently these Shikaar fancy themselves to be great hunters! I came to see it in person and maybe join one or two of these Grand Hunts.
Turns out we have to prove ourselves to be able to join, which should be a piece of cake for an accomplished hunter such as myself! If you get confused just make sure to follow my lead.
After N [70] License to Hunt at Maruukar
What do you mean I failed?!
"There is more to hunting than just mindlessly slaughtering creatures."?!
It wasn't mindless at all, your mind has to help you aim your gun! Bah, I'll show those Shikaar who the real great hunter is!
Camp Nowhere, Azure Span

Sit, Pugsley! Sit!

Eh, can I help you with anything? I'm a wee bit busy at the moment.

Gossip What are you doing in the Dragon Isles?

My da and I are here to help the expedition! He's turned over a new leaf as a wagon driver, and I'm helping run the camp in his absence.
We're here for the business of exploration, not big game hunting.
<Nesingwary's trigger finger twitches.>
Northern Thaldraszus gossip during Grand Hunt

Give me a small crew, a handful of plucky adventurers such as yourself and we could clear this entire region of beasts in the time it takes these Shikaar to form their camps! They must have been intimidated by my skills and that's why they won't let me participate.

Southern Thaldraszus gossip during Grand Hunt

How did I get up here? How did you get up here! Dragon what now? Ok fine just get out here before you give away my position.

Eastern Ohn'ahran Plains gossip during Grand Hunt

Don't I have something better to be doing? What could be more important than observing a hunt? Besides I can run pretty fast if anyone needs me elsewhere.

Northern Ohn'ahran Plains gossip during Grand Hunt

There are so many creatures still alive! How can anyone call this "hunting"? I swear I also saw someone help an injured beast!

Western Ohn'ahran Plains gossip during Grand Hunt

Quiet, you'll blow my cover! These so called hunters don't want me hanging around, probably because they know I'm an expert and can see all their mistakes! Look at them just circling their prey so they can't escape instead of actually hunting, what kind of strategy is that?

Western Azure Span gossip during Grand Hunt

The Shikaar speak of balance but all I'm seeing is them standing in a circle and kicking over bird nests! They're not even smart enough to shoot them!

Eastern Azure Span gossip during Grand Hunt

Such a strange location for a hunt, not very many beasts here to collect fine trophies from. I'm starting to suspect these Shikaar don't really know how to hunt!

Southern Azure Span gossip during Grand Hunt

The Shikaar talk about balance but where is the balance when there are so many beasts roaming around that are still alive! Do me a favor when you go down there and kill one, two... maybe ten beasts. Just don't let them know I'm here.
