Alandien is a demon hunter at the Ruins of Karabor in Shadowmoon Valley. She is one of the three night elf demon hunters in charge of training new recruits, and was also a mentor of Varedis until he surpassed her abilities.[2] Alandien teaches demon hunter recruits about infiltration.[3] She remarks in her battle against Azaloth she was trained by Illidan himself. She was the first known female demon hunter in-game.
Her fellow demon hunter Kayn Sunfury mourns her passing, and holds Altruis the Sufferer responsible for her death.
Abilities
Mana Burn — Hits an enemy with an anti-mana bolt. For each point of mana consumed by the bolt, the target takes 0.5 damage.
Metamorphosis — Turns into a demon at 49%.
Shadowfury — Shadowfury is unleashed, causing 206 to 244 Shadow damage and stunning all enemies within 10 yds for until cancelled.
