Kin'tessa is a prominent female nathrezim.
Biography
Chains of Domination
After Korthia was pulled into the Maw, Kin'tessa disguised herself as the attendant Caretaker Kah-Than and tricked Maw Walkers into helping her find Korthia's Fatescribe, Roh-Kalo, who was hiding in the Sanctuary of Guidance. Upon revealing her true identity, Kin'tessa brought Roh-Kalo to the Jailer in Torghast, but not before leaving another nathrezim, Azodius, to kill the Maw Walker. She told him to make it a quick kill, as "thanks" for the Maw Walker's help.[2]
In Revendreth, while Mal'Ganis distracted the Maw Walker and their venthyr allies, Kin'tessa and two other nathrezim attacked the tower in Dawnkeep where Sire Denathrius was kept imprisoned in his sword Remornia. Kin'tessa grabbed Remornia while the other nathrezim restrained Z'rali, after which all three flew away to escape a holy blast from Z'rali.[3] It is not known where Kin'tessa took the sword.
Eternity's End
Kin'tessa was among the nathrezim that accompanied the Jailer to Zereth Mortis. In order to reach his final objective of entering the Sepulcher of the First Ones and rewriting reality, the Jailer needed to use the Forge of Afterlives.[4] Kin'tessa led efforts to Dominate the automa in order to destroy the obelisks protecting the Forge. A Maw Walker spotted her Dominating a Converted Guardian in Provis Strata while scouting the area with Shandris Feathermoon.[5] Shortly after, the hero and Darion Mograine heard a disturbance at Provis Flora and rushed to find Kin'tessa using the Converted Guardian to destroy the obelisk there. She had nathrezim disguised as Knights of the Ebon Blade and the Guardian attack Darion and the hero, then disappeared.[6]
Alongside Mal'Ganis, Kin'tessa accompanied the Jailer into the Sepulcher. Together called the Lords of Dread, they tried to stop invading Maw Walkers to ensure that none were left to interfere with the Jailer's plan. However, the Maw Walkers fought through their magic and illusions and defeated them.[7] It is not known if their deaths are permanent.
