The Swift White Hawkstrider grants the ability to summon Kael'thas Sunstrider's personal hawkstrider mount. Before the release of patch 3.0.8, it was also the only hawkstrider available to tauren players. Up to Legion, it was the only hawkstrider mount available to the Alliance.

The hawkstrider drops from Kael'thas Sunstrider in Magisters' Terrace on heroic mode.

It can also be found listed on the Black Market Auction House by Mei Francis for 20,000.

Notes

• After Kael'thas' death, the white hawkstrider is now carefully tended in the Magisters' Terrace.
• In death, Kael'thas also rides a ghostly hawkstrider. However, due to the information from Exploring Azeroth: The Eastern Kingdoms, it appears the ghostly version may be a different hawkstrider.
