These gargantuan ships of war are the main armament in the dark armada of the Horde. Heavily armed and armored, the Juggernaughts are veritable floating fortresses that constitute the greatest implement of destruction within the Horde's naval forces. While not as swift as the Troll warships, these ruinous craft have quickly come to be feared across the seas of Azeroth for the unrelenting onslaught they render against the Alliance.[1]
Information
- Juggernaughts are heavy warships. They are extremely powerful but slow and expensive, and are used to destroy enemy ships and bombard their buildings and any units foolish enough to stay close to the shore.
- They are far superior to Towers, but need to take care around Ballistas, which outrange them.
- Their biggest drawback is that they cannot target flying units. Due to their slow speed, they are also very vulnerable to the Mage's Blizzard spell.
- Another drawback is that they have a long cooldown time between their attacks, and fast units can evade their cannonballs. Thus, a skilled enemy can use a cheap ship such as a Tanker make your Juggernaughts waste their first shots, and then immediately send in their Battleships.
- Like Catapults, their attacks have splash damage.
- They can use the "Attack Ground" command to destroy enemy Submarines even if they cannot see them, but will not do this unless you specifically order them to.
