The mighty Chieftain of the Warsong clan is as ferocious as his battle cry. Hellscream has long waited to venture into Azeroth and prove the dominance of the Warsong clan on the field of battle. Although Grom distrusts the shaman Ner'zhul, he will lead his clan screaming onto the fields of bloody death.[1]

Notes

  • Grom is a hero with much higher stats than a normal Grunt. He does not have any special abilities apart from this.
  • He appears in the Beyond the Dark Portal Horde missions Slayer of the Shadowmoon and The Dark Portal as a controllable hero. Rescuing him and securing his survival are victory conditions in the former, while in the latter he is immediately available and his survival is not required.
  • In Warcraft II: Remastered, he is renamed to Grommash Hellscream to align with post-Warcraft II naming conventions.
