Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak teach the Grand Expedition Yak, a vendor mount that comes with a repairer and a transmogrifier. This item can be purchased for 120,000 from Uncle Bigpocket in Kun-Lai Summit.
Obtaining this mount awards the 
[Grand Expedition Yak] achievement.

These beasts of burden are known to carry over five times their own weight and to be capable of lasting several days without food or water.
Notes
- The included NPCs are Cousin Slowhands (vendor/repairer) and Mystic Birdhat (transmogrifier).
- The use of a single
[WoW Token] is usually enough to cover the price of this item if absolutely necessary. The 
[Ethereal Transmogrifier] through the Trading Post is a great alternate permanent option or the 
[Deployable Attire Rearranger] is a far cheaper albeit consumable option for transmogrification.
Patch changes
Patch 9.0.2 (2020-11-17): Now requires Apprentice Riding (was Journeyman Riding). - Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now requires level 32 (was 85).
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Grand Expedition Yak's reforge vendor (Mystic Birdhat) has been changed into a vendor that offers transmogrification services.
