The World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic Dark Portal Pass included a boosted character level for World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic. It was priced at $39.99 USD.[1]
As of September 2022, the Dark Portal Pass is no longer available for purchase.[2]

Level 58 character boost
- Apprentice Riding Skill
- Appropriate Gear, a blue-quality mount based on character's race, and starting gold, four 12-slot bags[3]
- Weapon skill at 290[3]
- All Azeroth flight paths.
- Reputation for the character's race faction set to Friendly.
For a character that has played partially already, the gear they're wearing and items in the inventory will be sent to the character via the mailbox.
Limitations
- You can only purchase the Dark Portal Pass once per World of Warcraft account.
- You can only use the boost on the World of Warcraft account where you purchased the Dark Portal Pass.
- You can only use the boost on a Burning Crusade Progression realm.
- You cannot use the Dark Portal Pass boost on a Blood elf or Draenei character. By extension, you cannot boost an Alliance shaman or a Horde paladin.
- You cannot purchase a Character Transfer for a character that has been boosted in the past 72 hours.
Additionally, purchasing the Dark Portal Pass then upgrading to the Deluxe Edition does not grant an additional boost.
