Midnight The Last Titan
(TBD)

World of Warcraft: The Last Titan is the upcoming twelfth expansion for World of Warcraft and the third and final chapter of the Worldsoul Saga, set to release after The War Within (2024) and Midnight (TBD). It is not expected to be released until 2027 at the very earliest.[1]

In The Last Titan, events relating to Azeroth's world-soul may spiral wildly out of control in spite of players' efforts in the preceding chapters. Players will return to Northrend, specifically Ulduar, and witness the titans' return to Azeroth, as well as uncover a vast conspiracy stretching through the history of the world, one that challenges everything previously thought known about the intentions of the titans and the true nature of Azeroth.[2] As of August 2024, Blizzard were already mapping out patch 13.1 and 13.2 and how they would play out.[3]

The Last Titan is intended to be a cap-off of the last two decades of storytelling that began with the original World of Warcraft, though more story content will follow the expansion's release.[1]

Development

Work on The Last Titan was carried out simultaneously with both The War Within and Midnight.[4]
