Shimmer Ridge is located in northern Dun Morogh, west of the Gates of Ironforge. The ridge is inhabited by Frostmane trolls, who grow 
[Shimmerweed], tame boars and dwell in two camps connected by a bridge. Young adventurers seek Shimmer Ridge out in order to collect the shimmer weed for an especially tasty ale recipe.
During the war on Pandaria, an agent of Zandalar infiltrated Dun Morogh and rallied the Frostmane trolls. At Varian's request, Moira led her personal guard against them once the king's champions have stopped the magical storm and the trolls protecting Shimmer Ridge.
