North Gate Outpost is the northeasternmost settlement of the dwarves built in Dun Morogh. It lies in the middle of North Gate Pass, which links Dun Morogh in the west with Loch Modan in the east.
The mountaineers stationed at the outpost are busily defending it from encroaching wildlife, and some dwarves have gone missing in the mountains in search of the more ferocious beasts. Young dwarves and gnomes are tasked with exploring the area and looking for any signs of the lost mountaineers and the animals which killed them.
