Newstead is a farmstead located on the road to Thoradin's Wall, in western Arathi Highlands. As a contested foothold in the Battle for Stromgarde, control of it provides the adventurer's faction access to cavalry warfare. Under Alliance control, Vindicator Banra trained his elekks for battle, while under Horde control, Raider Zugg focused his efforts on training a few kodos.[1] After each phase of the battle, the adventurers are tasked to scavenge the farmstead, in order to replenish their faction's depleted supplies.[2] Huntmaster Theodore of the Stormwind Army leads the Newstead Militias in the area.
Since the canonical ending to the Warfront was the Alliance victory,[3] Newstead is under Stromgarde control.
