Dawnchaser Retreat is the second tauren outpost in Krasarang Wilds. It can be found in the southwest part of the wilds, between the Temple of the Red Crane and the Ruins of Korja. The camp was under constant attack by both mogu and saurok, and after two months it was abandoned and burned to the ground by the saurok.[1]
Following the awakening of the Dragon Isles in 40 ADP, Chen Stormstout, Li Li Stormstout, and Catelyn the Blade visited the area where Dawnchaster Retreat once was. The area was still bare of trees and grass, but Catelyn noticed a bit of grass and two tiny shoots that might one day be trees poking through the earth. Li Li then noted that with time, most scars can heal.[1]
