The Splinter Fist, also known as the Stone Fist Clan,[1] are a group of ogres found in Vul'Gol Ogre Mound. The leader and champion of this group is Zzarc'Vul, whom can be found inside the cave.[1]
According to Watcher Dodds, they usually keep to themselves, but they've got a bad habit of attacking travelers. As the Night Watch wanted to only risk its few members in the defense of more immediate threats, they engaged adventurers to kill some of the ogres in exchange for rewards.[2]
At some point, Abercrombie was attacked by the ogres, and after they chased him off, they wagered back to their mound and brought his "crate of precious tools and herbs" with them. The necromancer thus sent an Alliance adventurer to recover the crate.[3] Viktori Prism'Antras also needed the monocle of Zzarc'Vul to use for his research and sent an adventurer in the cave to defeat the ogre leader.[1]
In Season of Discovery, a group of Splinter Fist ogres crossed into the Emerald Dream and got corrupted by the Nightmare.

In the RPG
These ogres, like the others in Azeroth, delight in attacking the villages to the south, depleting the already poor people of their dwindling resources.[4]
Notes
- They notably feed on black bears of the region, as seen by the half-eaten bodies found in the cave.
- Lands of Conflict says that a group of ogres called "Vul'Gol" live in Vul'Gol Ogre Mound.[4] In World of Warcraft the "Splinter Fist" inhabit that place. It is possible that it was renamed by Blizzard Entertainment or that Lands of Conflict called them Vul'Gol because they live in Vul'Gol Ogre Mound.
