The Bloodmaul clan is one of the clans of ogres led by Dorgok that inhabit the Blade's Edge Mountains. The main group of Bloodmaul ogres live at Bloodmaul Camp at the north edge of Daggermaw Canyon to the southwest of Gruul's Lair. A smaller group of ogres live at the Bloodmaul Outpost at the southern end of Bloodmaul Ravine. The leader of this outpost is Grimnok Battleborn. These ogres are busy digging into the Draenethyst Mine looking for ore and treasure like [The Thunderspike].

History

Before Draenor was destroyed, the Bloodmaul were a wealthy ogre tribe that profited from the Bloodmaul Slag Mines. They used Frostwolf and Draenei slaves to mine the deposits of ore and gemstones. When Draenor mutated into Outland the slag mines were destroyed, and the Bloodmaul retreated into the newly born Blade's Edge Mountains.

Recently, a troll witch doctor named T'chali taught the ogres how to brew their own beer. They repaid him by burying him in the ground up to his head.

The Bloodmaul and Bladespire ogres are fierce enemies of each other, and the Bloodmaul clan was in danger of being crushed by the Bladespire ogres, and Gruul's sons who back them. Eventually the Bloodmaul leader Dorgok had earned Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater's favor and submitted themselves to the Sons of Gruul's authority. Under their influence, the Bloodmaul has engaged in hostilities against the Alliance, the Cenarion Expedition, and the Mok'Nathal.

Trogma's Claim

In Trogma's Claim there is a group of ogres that was enslaved by the Vekh'nir arakkoa. Although they are named "Dullgrom", they are part of the Bloodmaul clan.
