Skylord Omnuron is a night elf druid and the leader of the Druids of the Talon. Malfurion Stormrage described Omnuron as being watching of his own.[1]

History

Season of Discovery

Season of Discovery The subject of this section is unique to the World of Warcraft Classic: Season of Discovery.

By the time of the attack on the Scarlet Enclave in the Eastern Plaguelands four years after the Battle for Mount Hyjal, Omnuron and his Druids of the Talon were watching over the warded off Mount Hyjal. Thisalee Crow briefly contemplated speaking with Omnuron about allowing the adventurer to enter Hyjal, but she quickly refrained from doing that, believing he would understand, since it was better to beg forgiveness than ask for permission, according to her.[2]

Cataclysm

Skylord Omnuron in Cataclysm.

During the Cataclysm, Skylord Omnuron was found in the Shrine of Aviana in Mount Hyjal and was dealing with Wormwing harpies. He was aided by Choluna and Thisalee Crow who provided him with reports.[3] The latter also described him as being too gentle with the harpies.[4] When he learned about the missing egg of Aviana, he tasked Thisalee and adventurers to find it and sent them on a mission in Sethria's Roost.[5][6] Thisalee also convinced him to launch a direct attack on Sethria.[7]

When the druids launched a counterattack against Ragnaros' domain, Omnuron and other druids fought at Nordune Ridge.[8] Later, Malfurion Stormrage requested Omnuron and his druids to join the attack on the Firelands. He wasn't eager to bring his colleagues into the fiery plane, but he understood the necessity and agreed.[1] He and his druids came to Malfurion's Breach in the Molten Front. They have been able to navigate throughout the burning skies. He planned to secure additional landing territory past the Furnace,[9] an effort that was aided by adventurers.[10] When the efforts of the druids culminated into defeating a Lieutenant of Flame, he saw it as an advance against Ragnaros.[11]

Warlords of Draenor

During the war in Draenor, Omnuron traveled to Frostwall Tavern / Lunarfall Inn on Draenor, having been sent by Aviana to extend an invitation of peace to the arakkoa and give them a place on G'Hanir.[12][13]

Legion

Omnuron was part of a small party led by Hamuul Runetotem that also consisted of Zen'tabra and Celestine of the Harvest. They traveled to Mount Hyjal to investigate reports of a demonic presence in the area. Overwhelmed, they were soundly defeated, and the Well of Eternity was almost completely destroyed. When a hero and Lyessa Bloomwatcher, who had come to cleanse  [G'Hanir, the Mother Tree], arrived, Omnuron told them what happened and left. After Destromath was defeated, Hamuul, Celestine, and Zen'tabra stayed behind to ensure that Omnuron and his forces could reestablish themselves on the mountain.[14] He was later part of the druids that communed with Malorne beneath Nordrassil.[15]

Omnuron helped the newly-christened Archdruid at the Dreamgrove by acting as the manager of their forces.

Dragonflight

Dragonflight This section concerns content related to Dragonflight.

Years later, Omnuron attended the gathering at Amirdrassil when it bloomed on the Dragon Isles after Fyrakk's death. He spoke with Aviana during the party. After Bel'ameth is established, he is seen speaking with Lyessa Bloomwatcher at the Terrace of the Moon.
