Pelodis is an Ascended kyrian located in Forgefire Outpost in Bastion. He is a Phalynx Master and rival to Nemea, a Larion Master, who is also his soulbind.[1] He can be recruited to become an adventure companion and be sent into missions across the Shadowlands.[2]
History
He was first encountered by a Maw Walker near Hero's Rest where he was arguing with Nemea over which of their ways was better. The two asked the Maw Walker to settle their debate by going with them, experiencing their ways, and deciding which one the Maw Walker preferred.[3] Afterward, Pelodis could be found in Forgefire Outpost, in the Golden Pasture, where he showed the Maw Walker what phalynx were like and how to upkeep them,[4] and also sent them in a few quests with a phalynx the Maw Walker rescued and helped repair called Gatamatos.[5] Once the Maw Walker was done experiencing both Nemea's and Pelodis' ways, they decided which one they preferred.[6]
When the Maw Walker decided to join the Kyrian Covenant, Pelodis was present during the reception the Archon arranged for the Maw Walker, in honor of their efforts against the Maldraxxus incursion in Bastion.[7] If the Maw Walker had previously decided they preferred Pelodis' ways, they would recruit him to go on missions in and outside of Bastion, contributing to the greater needs of the Shadowlands. The Maw Walker would also occasionally visit Pelodis in Forgefire Outpost and help him with Gatamatos' upkeep.[8]
Pelodis later accompanied his fellow kyrian into assaulting the Maw to fight against the Mawsworn where he worked with Nemea as a team. From Cocyrus, he asked the Maw Walker to choose a companion and defeat the Jailer's champions that threatened the kyrian forces, Malfestus, Domonous, and Furis.[9]
Some time later, Pelodis was present during the grand reception before the ceremony where Adrestes was made the Paragon of Devotion and briefly spoke with the Maw Walker.[10]
