Malificus is a nathrezim world boss at Wrynnfall on the Broken Shore, before the Tomb of Sargeras. During  [10-45] The Battle for Broken Shore he is seen mind controlling Argent Dawnbringers to his bidding in the Black City.

A creature of pure malice, Malificus incites terror in the hearts of all those who oppose him. Portents of his arrival come in the form of mass panics among citizens, and death cults celebrating the end of days.

Abilities

•  Shadow Barrage — Hurls a bolt of shadow at all enemies within 50 yds, inflicting 277500 to 322500 Shadow damage.
•  Incite Panic — Malificus drives twisted thoughts into the heads of 3 enemies, causing them to flee in terror for 4 sec. Any players within 8 yards of the fleeing target after 4 sec will themselves flee in terror for 4 sec.
•  Pestilence — Creates an area of Virulent Infection at the feet of 4 enemies within 50 yards.
  •  Virulent Infection — A Virulent Infection takes root in your body, inflicting 259000 to 301000 Shadow damage every 1 sec.
