Fire Shield Warlock imp pet ability 30 yd range Instant Surrounds the target in a shield of fire, increasing Fire resistance by X and making every strike against the target cause Y Fire damage to the attacker. Lasts 3 min. The caster cannot cast Fire Shield on himself.

Fire Shield places a damage shield on the Warlock and any party members within range (30 yards). The shield deals Fire damage to any enemy who hits a protected person. In addition, rank 6 and higher also increase the Fire resistance. Fire Shield has a spell power coefficient of roughly 1% of the imp's spell power or 0.15% of the warlock's spell power.

[Improved Imp] increases damage dealt.

Tips and tactics

When set to auto-cast, the Imp will cast this on any party members within 30 yds if they receive a melee attack.

As with any fire damage, mobs can resist it and it will not work on fire-immune mobs.

Fire Shield will not unphase the imp, as it is a defensive spell.

Does not stack with [Thorns].
